Namibia from a bird eyes view
8 days / 7 night accommodated
Fly-in Safari
from/to Windhoek covering many highlights in a very short time
Travelling Namibia is bound to take time since distances are big and the roads are not suitable for fast driving without endangering yourself. The only way to see many highlights in a short time is to rise into the air like an eagle and view the distances from above, most probably experiencing views that many a visitor fails to see from the ground. The seat in planes are normally Cessna 5 seated planes and luggage is restricted to 10kg in a soft bag.
DAY 1
Arrival / Windhoek
Arriving at Windhoek International airport a transfer company is awaiting you to take you to your accommodation in town.
Depending on your time of arrival a town tour would be the ideal opportunity to get to know Windhoek and its history (optional activity). If you prefer to rest and arrive in your time enjoy the beautiful sight from your hotels terrace over parts of Windhoek.
If a dinner at the hotel is not to your liking than use a shuttle or hotel advised taxi to take you to the most African Restaurant of Namibia, Joes Beerhouse, just down the road.
Windhoek – Khomas Region
Bed and Breakfast
DAYS 2 AND 3
Windhoek - Sossusvlei
Your flight to Sossusvlei departs from Eros airport. Your transfer driver will pick you up at your hotel at a scheduled time and take you to the airport. Please ensure that your luggage does not exceed 10kg and is packed in a soft bag.
Laundry service is available at all lodges. Arriving at Sesriem airstrip a guide will await you and take you to your accommodation. Since you are booked on a fully inclusive basis you will join the lodge on a morning as well as afternoon activity.
Sossusvlei – Hardap Region
Fully inclusive
DAYS 4 AND 5
Sossusvlei- Swakopmund
Since you have truly enjoyed the Namib Desert at its best, it is time for little cooler weather at the Atlantic Ocean, in Namibia’s most sought after holiday resort Swakopmund.
A transfer driver of the hotel will be awaiting you at Swakopmund airport and take you into town. Here you can relax, take a walk on the beach or do some window shopping before you are heading for one of the lovely restaurants for a seafood dinner. A driver of the hotel will gladly pick you up later and take you back to the hotel.
Day 5 is free for any optional activity like a desert tour, dolphin cruise, quad biking, sky diving, sand boarding, kart driving or an excursion into the desert to meet the small creatures that survive here. Please note that activities should be pre-booked.
Swakopmund – Erongo Region
Bed and Breakfast
DAY 6 AND 7
Swakopmund – Etosha National Park
Leaving the coast your flight takes you straight to the next highlight Etosha National Park. Again you are booked on a fully inclusive basis meaning you join the lodge on their activities in the private Game Reserve as well as in Etosha National Park.
Since your day of arrival does not leave too much spare time for activities, you can also consider an extension for a day or two.
Etosha National Park – Kunene Region
Fully inclusive
DAY 8
Etosha National Park – Windhoek / Departure
Sadly your stay has come to an end and your next flight will take you back to Windhoek International airport.
If you feel this was much too short than we will gladly extend your trip to any direction you want to go.
