Protea Hotel Pandu
Ondangwa
Ondangwa is a town in the Oshana Region, situated in the cultural
heartland of northern Namibia. It is approximately 92kms north from
the spectacular Etosha National Park and about 80 kms south of the
Angolan border. Ondangwa means "the end of the Ondonga area", one of
the regions kingdoms.
This four star Protea Hotel, has a conference centre, restaurant,
bar and large swimming pool. Lazy-lounger chairs and umbrellas are
provided for your relaxation after your dip. There are also two
garden terraces, with waiter service if required. Protea Hotels
Ondangwa offers 90 air-conditioned, en-suite rooms, including 2
suites. Every room has an en-suite bathroom, TV, telephone, room
service, mini-bar, tea/coffee station and an in-room safe. The
restaurant serves an 'a la carte' menu for breakfast, lunch and
dinner and a buffet style meal will be served in peak season. Nearby
attractions include a Cuca shop tour and cultural tourism route.
Oshakati
Country Hotel
Oshakati country Hotel offers 50 bedrooms with en-suite facilities.
Rooms are fitted with television, air conditioning and direct dial
telephones. The impressive thatched main building houses an a la
carte restaurant, lounge, bar and conference room which seats 150
people and is popular for banquets and receptions. Airport transfers
to the Oshakati and Ondangwa Airstrips can be arranged at reception.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room. The bar
with traditional drums and murals of dancing tribesmen has a
relaxing mix of cultures and conversation. The courtyard with its
lush garden and swimming pool provides the ideal atmosphere for a
relaxing sundowner after a busy day. Relax around the pool or depart

Oshakati is the hub of trans-border trade with Angola and is the

Camp Okaukuejo
Okaukuejo is located 17 km from the southern entrance of the park
(see also
accommodation options in the south-eastern
Kunene Region), and famous for its flood-lit
waterhole, where visitors can observe at close quarters a spectacle
of wildlife congregating and interacting. Accommodation is provided
to suit every need, in premier bush chalets overlooking the
waterhole; bush chalets and double rooms; or family
chalets. Other facilities include a restaurant, bar, shop,
swimming pool, kiosk and camping facilities.
Optional activities offered are guided nights drives and guided
morning or afternoon game drives.
Camp
Halali
Strategically located halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni, Halali
is situated at the base of a dolomite hill, amongst shady Mopane
trees. A flood-lit waterhole which is viewed from an elevated
vantage point provides exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the
day and into the night. Accommodation is provided in family
chalets, two and four bed bush chalets and double rooms - all
converted with large sliding doors to the outside, to allow visitors
to experience and benefit from the peace and tranquillity of the
natural surroundings. Other facilities include a restaurant, bar,
shop, swimming pool, kiosk and camping facilities.

morning or afternoon game drives.
Camp
Namutoni
Namutoni is located in the eastern side of Etosha National Park. It
centres on an old German Fort, overlooking the King Nehale
waterhole. The Fort has been developed into the hub of activity,
offering two restaurants, a relaxation lounge, a bar, crafts
boutique, curio shop, jewellers and bookstore. The Fort area is for
pedestrian access only, and an elevated decked walkway along the
water-hole facing wall will provide opportunities for enjoying the
surrounding scenery, wildlife and the spectacular sunsets.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable double rooms or bush
chalets. Camping is also available.

Etosha
Aoba Lodge
Etosha Aoba Lodge is situated on a 36.000ha private game reserve
adjacent to the Etosha National Park. Here you can participate in
memorable activities or relax in a pleasant bush atmosphere. The
Etosha Aoba Lodge is located on the Farm Vergenoeg which was
officially proclaimed Fischer's Pan Private Nature Reserve in May
1998. At the same time, all the internal fences were removed and
game could roam the 7000ha freely.
The view from the open Lapa is directly to a waterhole where you can
observe antelope and small game. The bar overlooks both the swimming
pool and the waterhole. The bungalows are situated near the lapa and
along the "Omuramba Ovambo" dry river bed. Here in the "middle of
the bush" you will find all the luxuries required to make your stay
a pleasant one.
6 Comfort Bungalows have a small veranda and there are well
equipped with mosquito net, shower/WC, fan, safe, coffee/tea maker
and a small bush minibar.
4 Luxury Bungalows are air-conditioned and have a large
private veranda with outside shower, sun lounger, sunshade, and an
unforgettable view of the “Namibian bush”.
Kempinski Mokuti Lodge
"Mokuti" is a Himba-word meaning "in the bush" and, true to its
name, Kempinski Mokuti Lodge is the gateway to a unique safari
experience. Choose one of the Kempinski Mokuti Lodge rooms and
anticipate the harmony between natural beauty and extravagant
comfort. All rooms combine European Luxury with traditional African
charm, flaunted as thatched-roof chalets. Don’t be surprised to meet
a Bontebok or a Giraffe on the way to your room whilst walking
through the wide spread and tranquil gardens.

Minen
Hotel
The Minen Hotel is a well situated garden hotel in the heart of
Tsumeb. The hotel is famous around the country for the natural
atmosphere, hosting a wild garden, traditional German cuisine and
excellent hospitality. All rooms are comfortably furnished with en
suite, TV, telephone and air-conditioning. The hotel also boasts
luxury suites and a refreshing swimming pool. Additional facilities
include a conference centre, ladies' bar, separate pub and pleasant
beer garden.
Mushara
Lodge
Located only 8 kms from the Von Lindequist Gate, on the eastern
outskirts of the Etosha National Park, Mushara Lodge is ideally
situated for travellers visiting the park. The name Mushara derives
from the Purple Pod Terminalia tree, which grows in abundance in the
lodge grounds and the surrounding area. The thatched public area
consists of a small library with a selection of good books, a bar
with an extensive wine cellar, airy lounge with welcoming fireplace
for winter evenings, a dining area and well-stocked curio shop.
Great attention has been paid to the décor, which is an eclectic
blend of traditional African and modern art works combined with
original paintings. The lodge consists of 10 spacious chalets,
one family unit and two single rooms situated in a horseshoe
shape around the swimming pool. Each chalet and the rooms are
extremely spacious and are furnished with air-conditioning, mosquito
net, mini bar fridge, safe, tea- and coffee making facilities,
electric lights, direct dial telephone, wardrobe and luggage rack.
The bathrooms are en-suite with separate toilets. Seven of the
chalets have just a shower and the other three chalets, the triple
room and the single rooms have a bath and shower. A feature of
Mushara is its large, tiled, bright blue swimming pool surrounded by
green lawn that is kept well manicured by the occasional visiting
local wildlife.
Onguma
Game Reserve
Situated on the eastern side of Etosha, bordering Fisher’s Pan,
Onguma Safari Camps is one of Namibia’s best kept secrets! Onguma
Game Reserve has more than 20,000 hectares of protected land and
wildlife which boasts over thirty different animal species
consisting of plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx,
hartebeest, zebra, impala and many more roam freely as well as
predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard. The latest addition to
Onguma Nature Reserve is a family of black rhinos! More than 300
bird species can also be viewed here.
Onguma Bush
Camp
Basic accommodation consists of 6 en-suite air-conditioned luxury
bungalows, and 1 family room. Upon your return from the
park relax and cool off around our pool while watching a spectacular
sunset. Dinner is served at the open lapa area. Here you will be
treated to an excellent combination of European and traditional
African cuisine sitting around an open fire under an African sky lit
up by the stars. Picnic baskets are also packed on request. Bush
Camp is ideal for families and child friendly.

Onguma Campsite offers 6 camping sites with ablution
facilities and firewood. Campers are welcome to relax in the
beautiful surroundings and are even more welcome to enjoy breakfast,
lunch or dinner at Bush Camp.
Onguma
Tented Camp
It is this intriguing combination and attention to detail that makes
Onguma Tented Camp the ultimate in safari chic. In the local Herero
language, Onguma means, “the place you don’t want to leave.” With a
stunning main building and 7 tents providing private, exclusive
accommodation, Onguma Tented Camp, certainly lives up to its
name. Textures such as stone, suede, linen and steel create a
setting that is sleek and modern but also inherently of the earth.
An atmosphere of elegant dining prevails, complimented by the daily
activities taking place around the watering hole, approximately 60
metres away.
Onguma
Treetop Camp
Onguma Treetop Camp is a small and intimate camp, especially
designed for those travellers who would like to truly experience the
bush in its entire splendour. The Camp is built on wooden stilts
amongst the tree tops with full views over one of the most beautiful
watering holes on Onguma Game Reserve. The Camp consists of 4
thatched rooms with canvass walls, a dining room and a main
complex. Onguma Tree Top Camp is a place to savour, small bits at a
time.
Onguma The
Fort
The Fort is unlike any other, the only one of its kind in Namibia.
It is built in exactly the right spot to give guests probably one of
the best sunset views in the whole of Namibia – overlooking the
beautiful scarceness of the Etosha Pans, decorated only with its
wild animals and hundreds of Camel Thorn trees. The Fort will
surprise you at every corner; a classical African feel combined with
a touch of Moroccan and Indian flavors, characterized by a selection
of the most beautiful antique windows and doors. Accommodation at
Onguma – The Fort consists of 12 mini Suites, all situated
adjacent to the Main Fort extending on both sides to the south and
the north. Every mini Suite is completely private and about 50
meters apart from one another and is equipped with a bar fridge,
telephone and an air cooling system for those warmer days. The
spacious bathroom has both an inside shower as well as an outside
shower area. From every area of the room, wooden decks lead you
towards the outside seating area and sun loungers for just relaxing
and enjoying the extraordinary view. The one and only Fort Suite
is situated inside the Main Tower of the main complex. It has a
large beautifully designed bedroom that leads into a lounge area and
out onto a private viewing deck. The lounge is equipped with a
satellite television system, a bar fridge and telephone facilities.
And for those warm evenings, you have an air cooling system as well.
The large bathroom has a wonderful open shower area, as well as a
bath in which to relax and reflect upon your day’s experiences.
